2017 NFL Draft: KC Kingdom Staff First Round Mock Draft
2017 NFL Draft: KC Kingdom Mock Draft
Tennessee Titans – Thomas Hawkins
Simply put, Tre’Davious White is the kind of corner that you can stick on an island and dare the other team to attack. He was used in a variety of coverage types at LSU, but almost always played one on one with the receiver. A deep class at cornerback is the only reason why he is being talked about as a second round pick.
“He’s kind of soft, but he can cover. He’s not really what our team looks for because we play so much sub packages and he would have to be a better tackler to be on the field that much. He’s a fit for what some teams do though. Like I said, he can cover.” — Regional scout with NFC team
Staff Reaction:
I like the pick of Tre’Davious White here. As a four-year starter at LSU, White is ready to contribute from day one. He has great cover ability and his speed enables him to keep up with almost any wide receiver. White also has experience returning punts at LSU which also fills a need for the Titans. ~ Jesse Holt
