Quarterback (Need: Pressing)

It has been let out that the Chiefs do not intend to keep Nick Foles for the 2017 NFL season. That creates a big hole in the roster for the #2 job. I expect John Dorsey to go after a quarterback fairly early. Leigh Oleszczak says one high-profiled quarterback fits KC perfectly, but will he be available?

Running Back (Need: Mild)

The Chiefs have a talented stable of backs, but an unreliable running game. A change should be coming here somewhere. Our Leigh Oleszczak thinks it may happen early. The Chiefs did sign CJ Spiller just a couple days ago, but I don’t think he plays much of a factor.

Current Prospects:

Wide Receiver (Need: Mild)

With young talent already on the roster, it’s hard to see the Chiefs making a big investment here. I’ve talked about a potential reunion between Andy Reid and DeSean Jackson, but this draft has some options as well.

Tight End (Need: Mild)

Some more reliability could certainly be used here, but KC seems to like their young group of guys.

Offensive Line (Need: Pressing)

PFF stats are deceiving and don’t match the game film. Missed assignments and lapses, especially at guard, were covered by a quick-release pass attack. Run game floundered. Too bad this is really not a good OL class.
