Kansas City Chiefs: Senior Bowl And Prospect Preview
By Ben Almquist
Stock On The Rise
Senior Bowl practice is a great place for a player to improve their stock, and there were several potential Kansas City Chiefs prospects who did that.
Josh Dobbs – QB – Tennessee: One of the most disappointing positions in the 2017 draft is quarterback. There just isn’t a lot of talent in this group. However, there are some intriguing guys to watch and Josh Dobbs is one of them. He’s helped himself out this week by showing off his arm. The result is that he has earned the start on Saturday. That’s a good sign as far as what coaches think.
Larry Ogunjobi – DT – Charlotte: Despite a lack of top tier names, the defensive tackle class is pretty strong in 2017. That makes it tough to get to know small school players. However, that has not deterred Larry Ogunjobi. The small school standout from Charlotte has continued his dominating ways against the better competition this week. His stock is flying up.
Cooper Kupp – WR – Eastern Washington: Cooper Kupp is the name that every internet draftnik knows but pretends nobody else does. Kupp has done every sin
gle thing that people expected him to do this week. He may not be a “riser” in the strict sense simply because he was a solid Day 2 pick as it was. However, he has certainly cemented that draft position with his work this week.
