Week 3 – Chiefs Vs Jets

Chiefs won 24-3 (My prediction: 13-6, Chiefs)

Was there any more disappointing team this season than the New York Jets? After barely missing the playoffs in the 2015 season, NFL fans thought that the Jets had a chance at giving the Patriots a run for the AFC East title.

That did not happen though, and the seams came apart early for the Jets.

Every time Fitzpatrick would lead his offense down to the red zone, he’d get picked off. It was insane, but awesome.

"I think this will be a tougher game than people expect. The Jets have one of the best defenses in the league and that right there is scary."

I predicted this to be a defensive game and it was definitely that, but more so for the Chiefs. Ryan Fitzpatrick threw six interceptions and the Jets offense could only manage a field goal all day long.

This was honestly the only “blowout” that the Chiefs had all season long and a game in which fans felt comfortable with early on in the game. Every time Fitzpatrick would lead his offense down to the red zone, he’d get picked off. It was insane, but awesome.

Chiefs Kingdom started to see special signs from their defense in this game, which would pave the way for the rest of the season. There was nothing else like this six-interception performance from them, but that’s the type of game you only see once every ten years or so.

Glad the KC Chiefs were on the good side of things.

Chiefs: 2-1 (Leigh: 3-0)
