This was one hell of a game and the Kansas City Chiefs are officially heading to the playoffs! That word broke before the game, of course, but the Chiefs helped themselves out by also winning and knocking out the Denver Broncos.
Not only did the KC Chiefs bring home a Christmas victory, but they were able to knock the Denver Broncos out of playoff contention. It truly was fun for the whole family (unless you’re a Broncos fan).

The season finale will be against the San Diego Chargers next weekend on their home turf. It’s been awhile since these two have met, as their last meeting came in the season opener and was that incredible comeback that ended in overtime.
San Diego hasn’t seen much success the last two seasons and really all they have to play for next week is for their coach’s job and to play spoiler in the playoff picture. The Chiefs are already in the playoffs, but if they take care of business against the Chargers next week and the Raiders lose to Denver, then the Chiefs would be the two-seed in the AFC.
Huge implications are out there for next week’s game, so let’s hope this momentum carries over until then!
Before I sign off, one of the best parts of this game was the Broncos fan who ran onto the field and got walloped by a security guard from behind. I’ve never seen someone get tackled so hard in all of my life and it was funny as hell, man. Hope it was worth it for that Broncos fan. I guess their season is over, so what difference did it make to him?
Anyway, hope everyone had a Merry Christmas and GO CHIEFS!
