Who Is Leading At Halftime?

More from Kansas City Chiefs

The Kansas City Chiefs have made it a habit of doing just enough to beat out their opponents. That’s an interesting set up for this week as the Titans seem to use a similar tactic. This past week, I reviewed the Titans games up until this point and found a trend. If the Titans are losing at halftime, it is almost a guaranteed they lose the game.

The Chiefs are similar in that regard. Of course, that would have a lot to do with the fact these are very similar teams. In fact, it wouldn’t be a stretch to say the Titans are almost identical to the 2013 Chiefs squad. This is a team with a solid, but flawed, defense and a less than dynamic offense.

The Chiefs have the talent to jump out on the Titans early this game. If KC can do that, they will likely be able to grind out the rest of the day with little threat of Tennessee catching up. The Titans passing attack simply isn’t a big enough threat for them to play from behind effectively. In the same line though, there is some concern whether or not the Chiefs could come from behind either.

The Kansas City Chiefs are a very good team and have an excellent shot at securing a playoff appearance this week. The Chiefs need to continue playing the level of football that has seen them knock off three straight quality teams. At this point, the Chiefs need to keep winning football games and try to put some distance between them and the Raiders.
