This is where it gets truly frustrating for Kansas City Chiefs fans. The Chiefs absolutely handled the Raiders earlier this season. However, since then Oakland has won six straight games and currently hold the #1 seed in the AFC playoff race. Sometimes life really just isn’t fair…or at least that’s how it seems for Chiefs fans looking at this right now.
The Raiders are likely in the playoffs at this point, but their claim on the AFC West and #1 seed have some big obstacles. The first obstacle comes this Thursday night at Arrowhead Stadium where the Raiders take on the Chiefs. That game could very well decide the AFC West. After that, Oakland still has a pair of road games in the division, as well as a home game against the Colts.
Raiders fans have been waiting for this for a long time. After 14 years of ineptitude, Oakland has finally put together a winning season. This may be one last hurrah for the fan base though as the team seems set to move to Las Vegas for the 2017 season. Frankly, I can’t think of anything more fitting than the Chiefs crushing the hopes and dreams of Raiders fans this week.

The Kansas City Chiefs are in excellent position to make the playoffs in 2016. Their final position in the playoff standings will depend a lot on the outcome of their game this Thursday. With a win over the Raiders, the Chiefs would be in full control of their playoff chances. Kansas City is going to be insane this week!
