Bad: Pass Rush

The pass rush wasn’t what it had been over the past few weeks. Yes, they got two sacks on Matt Ryan, but for the most part – Ryan had time to make plays down the field.

It is worth noting, however, that the Falcons have one of the best offensive lines in all of football. Still though – With Justin Houston and Dee Ford both playing, I thought Ryan might be scrambling a little bit more.

They allowed him to make plays in the air and with his legs. The guy ran for a first down on a third and nine late in the game, which wasn’t good to see.

The pass rush has time to bounce back, but next week they’ll have an even tougher opponent in the Raiders offensive line. The advantage will be with the Chiefs, however, as they’ll be at Arrowhead and we all know what an advantage that is.
