KC Chiefs fans have definitely questioned some of general manager John Dorsey’s decisions when it comes to drafting for the team, but at the end of the day, the guy has done well and provided a lot of depth.

Maybe it’s all the winning that’s taken place in the past two months or maybe it’s the holiday season, I don’t know, but I’m willing to admit that I was wrong about John Dorsey in the draft.

I had been pretty hard on the guy and that article I linked back to was written about the team had released third-round draft pick KeiVarae Russell shortly after the first game of the season.

Russell being cut was a huge shock to Chiefs Kingdom. He was considered to be a steal in the draft at the time, and it just didn’t add up. It made Chiefs fans begin to lose faith in Dorsey, and that’s the last thing a general manager wants.

Lately, however, Dorsey has proven that he’s knows what he’s doing when it comes to drafting for depth. Let’s go draft by draft since Dorsey has been in town and discuss which picks have worked out.
