KC Chiefs Vs Jacksonville Jaguars: Rating the Match-Ups
Defensive Line
Last week I got made fun of for saying that Indianapolis had a better defensive line than Kansas City. After seeing the game, I understand the insults thrown my way on that one. I was wrong on that one.

The Chiefs have a very talented defense, but sometimes I’m tough on the defensive line because of the amount of success opponents have had running the ball against them.
In seven games this season, the Chiefs have given up just under 791 yards on the ground this year, but the Jags have given up 873 total rushing yards.
With Jaye Howard banged up a bit and Allen Bailey already out for the season, the Chiefs defensive line needs to continue to get better. Chris Jones has looked solid as a rookie, but if they can start to slow down opposing running backs, then I’ll be fully on board with this squad.
The biggest names that Jacksonville has on their line (they have a 4-3 defense as opposed to Kansas City’s 3-4) are Dante Fowler Jr. and Malik Jackson. Jackson used to play for the Broncos, so he knows a bit about Kansas City’s offense from experience.
Since I got crap for it last week, I won’t pick against the Chiefs on defense, especially not against the Jaguars.
