Ugly: Second half play calling

Well, I really don’t need to say much else here other than “Zero offensive points” in the second half. For the sake of the article, though, I will explain more.

There wasn’t any spark on offense in the second half. Sure, Spencer Ware’s touchdown should have counted as such, but the Chiefs should have taken that anger and used it to score again. Instead, they kept making boneheaded plays and allowed this game to be much closer than it should have been.

I don’t understand why Alex Smith threw 33 times in this game when RUNNING IS YOUR SPECIALITY. Seriously… Why does Andy Reid continue to go away from the run? That’s what this team is built on. Smith should not constantly be throwing the football.

Okay, I’m done.
