Kansas City Chiefs Inactives Vs New York Jets For Week 3
By Charles Lam
The Kansas City Chiefs take on the New York Jets at home today. The Chiefs will be without a few key players against New York this afternoon. Now onto the reveal.
The KC Chiefs will be without dynamic running back, Jamaal Charles, for another game. He’s missed the first three games for Kansas City this season. Charles has been out of regular season game action since October of last year when he suffered a right ACL injury.
Another key area the Kansas City Chiefs are lacking in this game is the offensive line. The Chiefs will be without Jah Reid and Parker Ehinger. Reid is out with an ankle/foot injuries and Ehinger is dealing with concussion/foot injuries.
Offensive lineman , Laurent Duvernay-Tardif is active for the Chiefs but will not start, according to Kansas City Chiefs sideline reporter, BJ Kissel.
Here is the rest of the inactive list for the Kansas City Chiefs.
The New York Jets activated wide receiver Brandon Marshall for today’s game. Marshall didn’t practice all week with a knee injury he suffered last Thursday night against the Buffalo Bills.

Other key Jets wide receivers were banged up a little against the Bills but both Eric Decker and Quincy Enunwa will play against the Kansas City Chiefs this week.
Here are the Jets inactive players for week three.
There’s no big name on the list to be concerned with. The Jets are relatively healthy coming into the loudest stadium in the NFL.
The Jets will need to keep the receivers on the field. If they don’t have one or two of those dynamic pass catchers, their offense becomes pedestrian. The Kansas City Chiefs defense could send the rush a lot more and get pressure turnovers changing the complex of the game.
If the Jets receivers stay healthy, the Kansas City Chiefs cornerbacks will be tested. Phillip Gaines was added to the injury report late in the week for Kansas City. He will play today but he could be hampered a little bit more than usually due to a knee injury.

This should be a good game to watch. Both teams are in need of a victory today to stay above .500 during the early part of the season. It could come down to which team turns the ball over the least. I predict the Kansas City Chiefs will win a close game at home thanks to the crowd noise. Only time will tell.
