The Kansas City Chiefs go on the road this week to take on the New York Jets at Arrowhead Stadium.  Here is how you can tune in to catch all of the action.

The Kansas City Chiefs lost an ugly game this past weekend against the Houston Texans.  This week the Chiefs return home to Arrowhead Stadium to take on the New York Jets.  The Chiefs need a strong rebound game this week.

This is the second tough game in a streak of four contests against projected playoff teams.  The Jets are a strong team with star players on both sides of the ball.  The Chiefs are actually built very similar to the Jets, so this is an interesting match up.

The Chiefs are the favored team in this game, but this is projected to be a tight game.  The Chiefs cannot afford to come out flat like they did last week against the Texans..

Many believe Kansas City is a legitimate favorite to win the division and make a playoff run.  The Jets are also believed to be a playoff contender.  That means this game could be a preview for another match up between the two in the postseason.

The key to a Chiefs victory this week is to be balanced and come out the gate clicking.  Last week the offense became far too one-dimensional as Alex Smith tried to force the ball to Jeremy Maclin.  The end result was that KC was unable to move the ball consistently.  On top of that, there were numerous mental errors and foolish mistakes that caused the Chiefs offense to stall.  If the Chiefs can be balanced on offense, and execute the game plan, they should be able to handle the Jets.

The Chiefs are hoping to continue their winning ways in Houston this week.  After struggling early on last week against the Chargers, some fans are concerned.  However, the team that took the field for KC in the 2nd half looked markedly better than the team in the 1st half.  I think that continues into this week.

The Chiefs have started the season off 1-0.  Now we just have to hope they can avoid the stumble we saw early in 2015.  It won’t be easy with this upcoming stretch of games, starting with the Texans this week.  However, these are the games the Chiefs have to win if they want to be Super Bowl contenders.
