Wide Receiver

Jeremy Maclin or DeAndre Hopkins?

Houston terrifies me when it comes to their wide receiving corps. Their main guy is DeAndre Hopkins, who absolutely torched Kansas City in the season opener last year.

I’m afraid it could be a similar story this week, as the Chiefs pose one of the youngest secondaries in the league. Hopkins was able to do all of that damage when he had Brian Hoyer and Ryan Mallet throwing the football to him, so just imagine how good he’ll look when he has a more talented quarterback throwing to him. Scary, man.

Jeremy Maclin is good and we love him in the state of Missouri, but he’s not better than Hopkins. Houston has the better wide receivers BY FAR.

Don’t forget, they also have Will Fuller (who grabbed five receptions for over 100 yards last week) and Braxton Miller. These are two rookies that could have big days against the Chiefs secondary.

Advantage: Houston
