D+. . WR. . WIDE RECEIVERS

Good thing Spencer Ware had the day he had in the air because the receivers did not have a great day on the field.

Alex Smith can’t do it all and he needs help from his boys down the field.

Jeremy Maclin had a decent day, as usual, grabbing five passes for 63 yards and making it into the end zone once. He had a clutch grab near the end of the game to tie things up and then looked to be injured. Fortunately, he was later seen on the sidelines and seemed fine.

Chris Conley had four receptions for 43 yards. He’ll have to continue improving and becoming someone Alex Smith can trust.

Albert Wilson was awful. He had three grabs for one yard. ONE YARD.

Tyreek Hill had his first career touchdown, the first one for the Chiefs on the day too, and the one that got it all started. That was about all we saw from him, but it was a key moment in the game for sure.

The wide receivers for Kansas City will need to step up in future games. Alex Smith can’t do it all and he needs help from his boys down the field.
