Specialists

Denver Broncos – Brandon McManus/Britton Colquitt:  Some will credit the success of Brandon McManus and Britton Colquitt to playing in Mile High.  That may have some credibility, but the two specialists are also good on the road.  A little more seasoning, and they may be able to take over at the top.  Rank: 2nd

Kansas City Chiefs – Cairo Santos/Dustin Colquitt:  Dustin Colquitt is one of the top punters in the NFL, consistently finishing at the top in the league.  He is also the only punter on this list with a Pro Bowl.  Cairo Santos isn’t a dominant kicker in the NFL, yet he quietly scored more points than all the rest of the kickers in the AFC West last year.  Rank: 1st

Oakland Raiders – Sebastian Janikowski/Marquette King:  Sebastian “Sea Bass” Janikowski has a ridiculous leg, and may be the most Raiders-esque player since Kenny Stabler.  However, he is getting very old and his accuracy is suffering.  He hasn’t broken 110 points since 2012.  Marquette King is an up and coming punter who will give the Colquitts a run for their money soon.  Rank: 3rd

San Diego Chargers – Josh Lambo/Drew Kaser:  Josh Lambo isn’t terrible, though he does need to work on his accuracy.  However, this is a strong division for kickers and he comes in fourth on this list.  Drew Kaser is a rookie this season, and that’s not going to help pick up the slack in these rankings.  Rank: 4th

Total Points – DEN: 31  KC: 39  OAK: 34  SD: 24
