Kansas City Chiefs: Best Roster In The AFC West?
By Ben Almquist
Kansas City Chiefs have the top starting roster in the AFC West.
After breaking it all down, it is the Kansas City Chiefs that walk away with this crown. Oh sure, there will be fans who disagree with this (some vehemently). However, a five point victory is pretty substantial, not to mention the eight points that the Chiefs actually beat the Broncos by.
Speaking of which, it’s probably an even bigger surprise that it is the Oakland Raiders who come in second place and not the Denver Broncos. I have no horse in that race, so it tell me that there may have been a bit of a wild claim made before by someone. The San Diego Chargers, of course, are a distant fourth in this competition. However, my opinion alone shouldn’t determine everything. Let’s see what Twitter had to say…
Ok, so my Twitter followers are probably pretty much all Chiefs fans. To be fair though, I did open this up to the other fan bases. I hasthagged the other teams, and I even sent this over to their team FanSided sites to post. Not my fault if they didn’t feel strong enough about their own rosters!

Of course there remains a question as to the rest of the rosters for each of these teams. As I said before, it is impossible to have an accurate assessment of the entire 53 man roster for every NFL team. I’m pretty skeptical of anyone who claims to have it for even one team at this point. However, we can make an educated guess based on the projected starters. That educated guess leads me to believe the Kansas City Chiefs have the best roster in the AFC West.
For what it’s worth though, I actually believe that it will be the Arizona Cardinals who have the best 53 man roster from top to bottom.
