Fantasy Football Running Backs: #10 LeVeon Bell – Pittsburgh Steelers

Earlier this offseason, LeVeon Bell was a sure thing as a top three pick in almost every Fantasy Football league out there.  Then came word that he was going to be suspended for the first four games of the season.  That changed everything, and suddenly Bell’s value is extremely limited.

Best In The NFL?:  When he’s healthy and on the field, LeVeon Bell can make an argument for being the best running back in the NFL.  You would be hard-pressed to find a more complete back in the game.  He belongs in the conversation with Todd Gurley, Adrian Peterson, and Jamaal Charles.

Suspension Kills Value:  Someone in your league might take Bell in the first or second round…they probably just guaranteed themselves an 0-4 start.  Oh, and he will also have a bye week that still has to be accounted for.  That’s five games this season that his owner will not have one of their most important players.

Draft Value – 3rd Round:  There is only so far that Bell can fall.  He is just too good a player in too limited a talent pool.  If someone takes him before the third round, don’t worry about it.  However, if you are gunning for him, you had better be sure to draft another running back before him, AND grab DeAngelo Williams later on in the draft.
