Biggest Trap Games for the Chiefs – Number 2: New Orleans Saints

The Chiefs will host the New Orleans Saints in week seven of the regular season and this is a game that could surprise people.

First and foremost, Drew Brees is a future Hall of Fame quarterback and he’s still very good in the Big Easy. Brees has the ability to win games all on his own and against a weak Chiefs secondary, he could do just that in week seven.

Second, the Saints get a lot of grief for how poorly their defense has played over the past few seasons. Their defense won’t be a joke this year.

With Cameron Jordan, Nick Fairley, and rookie Sheldon Rankins on the defense along with Keenan Lewis and Delvin Breaux in the secondary, the Chiefs’ offense might have a tougher time than expected on the field.

I don’t think the Saints are really going anywhere this season (or for awhile for that matter), but they’ve shown they can still compete at a high level and this is about the time of the season where we start to see cracks in contending teams. Could the Saints be the one to expose the Chiefs?
