Biggest Trap Games for the Chiefs – Number 3: Tampa Bay Buccaneers

One of my surprise picks to wind up in the playoffs this season are the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Bucs are led by now second year man Jameis Winston and have incredible receiving talent in Mike Evans, Vincent Jackson, and Austin Seferian-Jenkins.

While Tampa Bay brought on a new head coach this offseason, they’re good enough to sneak into one of the Wild Card spots in the NFC.

I’m worried that Winston is going to trot into Arrowhead and put up over 300 yards passing and rush for over 100 on the ground.

The Bucs will come to Arrowhead in week 11 of the regular season and by that point, we’ll obviously know a little more about each team.

Whether Tampa is contending or not by that point, I still have this game circled on the schedule as a scary game. Winston is a good scrambler and the Chiefs have shown problems with defending mobile quarterbacks in the past (see the Johnny Manziel game last season).

I’m worried that Winston is going to trot into Arrowhead and put up over 300 yards passing and rush for over 100 on the ground. I really hope I’m wrong and that the crowd noise and the cold weather gets to Famous Jameis, but I just have this sinking feeling that the Chiefs could get beat in this game, and handily at that.

Hopefully I’m wrong. That’s all I have left to say.
