Best Seventh Round Draft Picks of All-Time – Number 1: Bobby Bell (Chiefs linebacker from 1963-1974) Minnesota

No surprises here. Bobby Bell, despite only being drafted 56th overall by the Kansas City Chiefs in 1963, is the franchise’s best seventh-rounder ever.

Bell is the only guy on this list to be named to the Hall of Fame, where he was inducted in 1983. He was ranked as KC Kingdom’s best Chief of all-time and made it to nine Pro Bowls. He also was named First-Team All-Pro six times in his career.

Sacks and tackles weren’t official stats when Bobby Bell played in the pros, but make no mistake that he was a beast on the field. He contributed greatly to the Chiefs winning the Super Bowl in the 1969 season and even to youngsters like me, is a legend in KC Chiefs history.

It wasn’t difficult compiling this list, as Bobby Bell was head and shoulders above everyone else taken in the seventh round.
