KC Royals Have To Cool Off Manny Machado
By Scott Dillon
The KC Royals are coming off a nice series win against the division rival Detroit Tigers. How do they stack up against Manny Machado and the Orioles?
The Royals currently stand atop the division as their winning percentage is just slightly better than the Chicago White Sox. Chicago has also won ten games and looks to be headed for a much more competitive season this year.
While it’s still early in the season, anytime the Royals can take a series from the Tigers it helps two causes. It puts the Tigers further behind the Royals and adds to the Royals win totals.

The Royals have been finding ways to win in spite of a slump that seems to be nearly team wide. Following last night’s game, Lorenzo Cain is batting a team worst .222 but the Royals are still winning ball games.
The Royals will need the bats to come alive sooner or later and if they are going to snap back to life, doing so against one of the better offensive teams in the league would be a good start.
Let’s take a look at how the team’s stack up and how the Orioles hot hitting Manny Machado does against each pitcher in this match up.
