5) The Kansas City Chiefs play their NFC South games late in the season

This one might not necessarily mean much honestly, but I found it interesting.

More from Kansas City Chiefs

The Chiefs play the NFC South division this year, meaning they’ll square off against the Buccaneers, Falcons, Panthers, and Saints. They don’t meet their first NFC South opponent until week seven when the Saints come marching into Arrowhead. They then won’t see another NFC South team until week ten.

After that, they’ll see the other two teams in the next three weeks after the Panthers game on November 13th.

Again, it doesn’t really mean much, but the NFC South could have some decent teams competing this year and the Chiefs might have their hands full in a few of these big games. The Panthers one in particular is going to be a tough one for Kansas City, as that team won the NFC Championship last year and fell short in the Super Bowl… In other words, they’re going to be pissed all season long.

The other three teams should be beatable though. The Saints haven’t been relevant in the past few years, the Falcons have really dropped off since 2012, and the Buccaneers are hoping to see their franchise quarterback take off in year two.
