Kansas Jayhawks basketball player Wayne Selden Jr threw down a monster dunk against Baylor in the Big 12 Tournament semi-final win.

Selden has struggled quite a bit since the game he put up 33 points against Kentucky. He may have made a statement tonight that his struggles are over.

Wayne Selden Jr finished his night with 11 points. He also added two rebounds and four assists but finished 0-3 from beyond the arc. His highlight of the night came a little closer to the basket though.

The Jayhawks narrowly escaped this game with the win. They were leading by 16 points with two minutes to go, but wound up winning by only four points. But a win is a win and now let’s just admire the dunk.

Andrew Baker, (@abakesports), tweeted this vicious dunk that saw him posterize one of the Baylor defenders.

Seldon’s uncle was in the game to see this play and I think his face completely sums up what everyone was thinking when they watched it.

More from Kansas Jayhawks

The dunk put the Kansas Jayhawks up by 12 with just over ten minutes to go in the game. It may have been just enough of an adrenaline rush to help the team hold on and win.

They won’t have much time to rest as the winner of West Virginia and Oklahoma will face off against the KU Basketball team tomorrow evening.

They’ll look to not only win the conference in the regular season, but lock up the tournament portion of the title tomorrow night as well. They’ve had a share of the title in every year back through 2005.

Everyone may be hoping for a Jayhawks vs. Sooners rematch. The first time they matched up this season was one of the best games in a long time. It would be fun to see another good game in the Championship round.
