KC Chiefs: Five Best Games Of 2015 Season
By Scott Dillon
Number Two: Chiefs 29 – Broncos 13
This win was therapeutic for Chiefs fans. The Chiefs hadn’t been able to beat the Broncos since ‘The Sheriff’ Peyton Manning rode into town and took the helm for the Broncos.
Earlier this same season the Chiefs watched a dominate performance slip away that left the players and their fans with a sour taste in their mouth.
Instead, he likely had nightmares of red and white jumping in front of his wobbly passes.
The Chiefs were coming off a bye week in the rematch and showed that they took full advantage of their time off. The defense flew all over the field and sent the future hall of fame quarterback to the bench for the first time in his career.
Manning should have been able to sleep easy that night as he set the all-time passing record. Instead, he likely had nightmares of red and white jumping in front of his wobbly passes.

The Chiefs picked off Manning five times in the game though they weren’t able to do much more than kick field goals. Santos nailed five field goals to give the Chiefs a 22-0 lead heading into the fourth quarter.
With the Chiefs already holding onto a seemingly insurmountable lead, Alex Smith hit West for an 80 yard score with 11 minutes left in the game. In frustration, T.J. Ward got ejected from the game for a cheap hit on Jeremy Maclin.
Beating the Broncos was sweet, but seeing them implode into temper tantrums along with Manning’s sour look on the sideline, made it that much sweeter.
