Keep the crowd out of it

Gillette stadium is one of the hardest places to beat Tom Brady and the Patriots. They don’t have a crowd noise advantage like the Chiefs or the Seahawks, but Tom and company just don’t lose all that often at home.

Brady has started 113 games in the friendly confines of Gillette stadium and in that time he is 97-16

Brady has started 113 games in the friendly confines of Gillette stadium and in that time he is 97-16. When the fans file into Gillette stadium, they expect to win, and with a record like that, why wouldn’t you?

If the Chiefs can find a way to keep the crowd out of it, they may have a small advantage. A good way to do that is to sustain long, clock consuming drives. They don’t necessarily have to score on those drives, but earning short third down situations and converting those third downs over and over again will weigh on the fans.

It figures to be cold and rainy on Saturday, so the Chiefs need to find a way to keep the fans under their blankets and in their seats. (Another big lead may inspire them to head to the exits early also, but don’t expect that).
