Make Tom Brady uncomfortable

The Chiefs already know what it’s like to have a porous offensive line. The difference between these two teams is that our quarterback can move…Theirs doesn’t do that all that well.

With an edge rush that is now fully healthy going against a team without much of a running game to slow down the rush, Tom Brady may be in for a rough day.

The Chiefs strong defensive front needs to take advantage of a hurt offensive line and stay relentless in their pursuit of Tom Brady. A couple of quick pops from the blind side might speed up the internal clock in Brady’s head and not give him the time to pick apart the defense.

We have a defense that loves to grab the football, so anytime Tom Brady has to force a throw he wouldn’t normally make, or tries to throw one away, the Chiefs ball hawking defense may be there to receive it. Tom Brady has made his career making back up players look like all-stars, so we’ll need a strong defensive front to stop him.

Justin Houston is now another week away from his injury as is Dee Ford. With an edge rush that is now fully healthy going against a team without much of a running game to slow down the rush, Tom Brady may be in for a rough day. Chiefs fans can only hope that he’s under duress for much of the game. He’s going to find a way to make it competitive, but he can be stopped.
