Be Greedy

The Chiefs have given the ball back to their opponents for the last drive of the game in three of their last four games. In each of those games, a touchdown would have won or tied the game.

More from Kansas City Chiefs

It’s been incredibly nerve-wracking watching these games come down to the wire, and the Chiefs need to do all they can to keep it from getting to that point.

The Kansas City Chiefs have got to find a way to extend drives with the lead late in the game. The Chiefs should have two goals in this game:

  • Goal number one will be to have the lead with two minutes left.
  • Goal number two should be executing a game plan that sees the Chiefs in victory formation for the last play of the game.

Trusting a good defense late in the games has worked so far, but it’s the playoffs and crazy things happen in the playoffs (See then Bronco/Current Texan Rahim Moore 2013 Broncos-Ravens video here).
