January 3rd, 2016 VS Oakland Raiders (5-6; 3-3 away)

If the Chiefs do lose to the Raiders in week 13, then they should be able to win in this one. That’s just the way this rivalry seems to go.

More from Kansas City Chiefs

Last year, the Raiders beat the Chiefs in Oakland, but the Chiefs got their revenge at Arrowhead a few weeks later. They ended up blowing out the bad guys in that one, including a huge De’Anthony Thomas punt return.

With this being the season finale and both teams possibly vying for a playoff spot, don’t expect either team to back down. This will be a hard fought battle between both sides.

The only way I could see this going Oakland’s way is if the Chiefs already clinched a spot in the postseason and can’t advance any further up the ladder. If so, Andy Reid may elect to bench his starters, much like he did in the 2013 season.

With Denver being three games ahead of Kansas City in the AFC West, it looks difficult to grab the division title. It could be possible that the Chiefs clinch a Wildcard spot by this point. If not though, buckle in, folks. This one will be a bumpy ride.
