The Ugly: Injuries
All season long, the KC Chiefs have struggled with players getting injured. In this particular game, Kansas City saw Jeff Allen, Eric Fisher, Justin Houston, and Mitch Morse exit the game due to injury. Allen did re-enter later when Morse suffered a concussion.
This has been a rough season injury-wise for the Kansas City Chiefs, who saw Jamaal Charles go down for the season in week five. Charcandrick West then injured his hamstring last week against the Chargers and was out for this one.

Injuries got so bad for Kansas City that the Chiefs were down to their last batch of offensive linemen. Allen and Fisher went out, which brought in Donald Stephenson and Zach Fulton. Once Morse had to leave the game, Fulton was moved to center, and Allen re-entered the game at left guard.
Despite all of the injuries in this one, the Chiefs took care of business, but you could tell the defense missed Houston immensely. That pressure Houston provides against the opposing quarterback was missing and it allowed Taylor to have the day that he did.
Hopefully these guys can get healthy for the big game against the Raiders next weekend. The Chiefs will need all of the help they can get in that one.
