The Good: Jeremy Maclin

During the off season, the KC Chiefs acquired Jeremy Maclin from the Philadelphia Eagles. He started the season off slow, only acquiring 109 total yards in his first two games, but took off a bit from there. He was the recipient of Kansas City’s first wide receiver touchdown in over a half and a year, and became a reliable target on the offense.

Maclin was acquired by John Dorsey and the Chiefs organization to do what he did on Sunday and that’s to get the big plays down the field.

His best game, however, came on Sunday against the Bills. Man, did Maclin come to play or what?

Maclin ended the day with nine receptions for 160 yards and one touchdown. He provided big play after big play, beginning with a 37 yard completion from Alex Smith, followed by a 41 yard completion for a touchdown, and later for 32 yards.

Maclin was acquired by John Dorsey and the Chiefs organization to do what he did on Sunday and that’s to get the big plays down the field. He looked terrific on Sunday and finally Chiefs fans got to enjoy a Jeremy Maclin filled day.
