Chargers quarterback Philip Rivers is already on his way to having a career year this season. He has only thrown for under 300 yards twice this season and has 2+ passing touchdowns in all of his games except one.
In week 8, Rivers and the Chargers head to Baltimore to take on the 1-6 Ravens. The Ravens are ranked 32nd (last) in the NFL in fantasy points allowed to opposing quarterbacks. Perfect matchup for Rivers.
To add on to the great matchup, Rivers will have Antonio Gates back for only the second time this season, and he finally has most of his weapons back.
This week looks to be a very good one for Rivers owners out there. If you have him and don’t have another name like Brady or Rodgers on your roster, then he should be in your starting lineup.
Consider him a must-start option at QB this week.
