Week 8 of the 2015 NFL season is here, and that means it is time to take a look at those fantasy football lineups. This is my Start ‘Em/Sit ‘Em article where I try to help you make some tough lineup decisions, whether that means starting players that normally doesn’t start for your team, or benching a player that is normally in your starting lineup.

Here is my Start ‘Em/Sit ‘Em picks from LAST week To get to Week 8’s start/sit picks just go to the next slide of the article.

Last Week’s Start ‘Em

Andre Ellington. 5. player. 32. . RB. Arizona Cardinals

Andre Ellington is a pretty talented back in the Cardinals backfield, but he was injured early in the season, and CJ2K or Chris Johnson then took over and hadn’t looked back. Johnson has obviously stolen the starting gig from Ellington and diminished him to nothing but a good handcuff for Johnson.

I thought last week would be Ellington’s comeback week against the reeling Baltimore Ravens, but he was all but absent again.

55. . WR. Pittsburgh Steelers. Antonio Brown. 4. player

Antonio Brown thought he might have his starting quarterback Ben Roethlisberger back in the lineup after missing numerous weeks due to injury in Week 7 against the Chiefs.

He didn’t get him back.

But Brown made the best of what he had against the struggling Kansas City Chiefs secondary. He ended with double digits for the first time since Roethlisberger got injured. If you started him, you were probably pretty happy with what you got.

3. player. 31. . QB. New York Giants. Eli Manning

Eli Manning had one of his worst games of the season two weeks ago against the Philadelphia Eagles. This led to my idea of a bounce-back game for last week’s game against the Dallas Cowboys.

Manning ended up having an even worse game than he did the week before and ended with a stunningly low total of 7 points. This was a very disappointing performance to me (he’s on both of my teams), and I’m sure some of you as well.

Manning will likely bounce back sooner rather than later.

Last Week’s Sit ‘Em

26. . QB. Baltimore Ravens. Joe Flacco. 2. player

Flacco and the Baltimore Ravens matched up with the Arizona Cardinals and their exceptional defense in Week 7, which is why I had him as a sit.

Flacco had one of his worst games of the season and ended with an average 17 points in 6-point passing touchdown leagues. He and the rest of the Ravens’ offense were pretty much shut down the entire night as the Ravens dropped to 1-6.

T.J. Yeldon. 1. player. 52. . RB. Jacksonville Jaguars

Yeldon had a tough matchup in Week 7 with Rex Ryan’s Buffalo Bills defense. Heading into the game, I didn’t think Yeldon would find much room to run behind the Jags’ young offensive line.

But he ended up having one of his best performances of the season. He got into the endzone for only the second time this season and rushed for over 100 yards.

Yeldon is a hard player to sit with all of his upsides, so hopefully you didn’t have much of an option rather than to start him.
