Bryce Brown isn’t a huge name in the NFL, but he could be just what the Kansas City Chiefs need for the rest of the 2015 season. Brown, currently a free agent, is a local product of the area, playing his college football at Kansas State.
He only has six touchdowns to his name during his time in the NFL, but he’s never really been the starting man. Brown has only started seven games in three years in the league.
Brown and Reid have history, and he could be beneficial to the KC Chiefs in 2015.
So why is he a good fit for the Chiefs then?
Well, for starters, Brown was drafted by the Chiefs head coach Andy Reid during his days with the Philadelphia Eagles. Brown was a member of the Eagles for two seasons before signing with Buffalo, where he didn’t see a ton of success.
Brown and Reid have history, and he could be beneficial to the KC Chiefs in 2015. Bob Evans of NFL Spin Zone feels that the Chiefs need to sign Brown saying,
"Brown is a multi-purpose back who can not only run downhill, but also catch passes out of the backfield. He also sports a 4.4 40-yard dash speed and the ability to make defenders miss with his 5’11” and 233-pound frame."
The Chiefs have had Brown in for workouts, but as of now, nothing further has come of it.
