The KC Chiefs lost 31-24 this week to the Denver Broncos. Here are five good reasons they didn’t win the game.
Waited 48 hours, cleared the head at the driving range and slept on it. And there’s still no other way to describe the Kansas City Chiefs loss to the Denver Broncos on Thursday Night Football.
It’s the worst Chiefs loss since the 44-45 Colts playoff game in the 2013 AFC Wild Card round. It’s the worst regular season loss since you name it.

Listen, it’s Week 2. The Chiefs are 1-1. No one sustained season-ending injuries. A lot of positive things took place Thursday.
In reality, the Broncos needed five takeaways and a defensive touchdown just to beat the Chiefs by one score in the final 30 seconds of the game.
The Chiefs season rolls on with optimism, and it should.
But when you give one away at home to a division foe, it’s going to be with you the entire season. So we might as well learn from it – then never speak of it again.
