1) Travis Kelce is a Beast
Okay, so we kind of already knew this about Travis Kelce, but his dominating performance against the Houston Texans solidified this sentiment. Kelce has quickly become a huge offensive weapon for Alex Smith over the past three years, and will be even more of a threat this year thanks to the addition of Jeremy Maclin.

What makes Kelce so great is his ability to do literally everything on the field. He can block, he can shed tackles, and he has explosive speed in the open field. Andy Reid used him in a variety of ways against the Texans, and we can expect them to do it again on Thursday against a stout Denver defense.
Of course, the big key for Kelce is staying healthy. He went down in 2013 with a knee injury and missed the entire season as a result, a year the Chiefs really could have used him.
Kelce didn’t have any problems in 2014, and led the team in receiving. Chiefs fans were holding their breath when Kelce went down after a big hit, but quickly returned later in the game.
The Chiefs haven’t had a tight end this good since Tony Gonzalez, and Kelce could potentially be just as good. He has quickly become one of the best weapons for the Chiefs, and should be a nightmare for opposing defenses this team. Not to mention, he has some pretty neat touchdown celebrations, too.
