FANTASY FOOTBALL WIDE RECEIVERS NUMBER 15: JEREMY MACLIN

Jeremy Maclin heads back to the Kansas City area after spending the beginning of his career in Philly with the Eagles. Maclin is a Mizzou alumni and also played under now Chiefs head coach Andy Reid in Philadelphia. Both of these reasons are why he and the Chiefs were able to hammer out a deal to bring him to the Chiefs.

  • Maclin had a breakout season last year with the Eagles in his first season without his ex-teammate DeSean Jackson, who was released by the team and he was later signed by the Redskins.

He also put up great fantasy numbers compared to where he was drafted/projected coming into last season. Whether it was Nick Foles or Mark Sanchez, the Eagles passing game constantly revolved around Maclin.

Hopefully fantasy owners (and Chiefs fans) can see the same type of performance out of him this season.

He will be the Chiefs number one wide receiver without a doubt as long-time Chief wide out Dwayne Bowe was cut and signed with the Cleveland Browns.

Not a single Chiefs wide receiver caught a touchdown all last season, but I see that trend changing as a couple of new receivers are in town and I see the Chiefs passing attack being much more dangerous in 2015.

Consider Maclin a solid number two fantasy WR come draft day, with a lot of potential to continue his success from last season even though he changed teams.
