He is the leader of the team because of his mentality to play for the team and not for himself. Playing under Naadir Tharpe his freshman season really helped him develop his game and ready him for the leadership role on the team.
There are few players on this team, if any tougher than Frank Mason!
I feel confident in saying that if there was no Frank Mason last season, there would have been no 11th straight Big 12 championship title in the Allen Fieldhouse halls.
His ability to pass and make clutch shots is what puts him over the edge as a play maker, and being the definition of a true point guard for the Kansas Jayhawks basketball team .
