4. player. 32. 2nd round, Pick #26 (#58th overall). OLB. Missouri. Markus Golden

Markus Golden was one of my most underrated players going into the draft. The dude is a beast.

In 2013, Golden recorded 6.5 sacks, and he wasn’t a starter, as Kony Ealy and Michael Sam collected the bulk of the sacks. This season, Golden had to compete for glory with Shane Ray, yet Golden still somehow got double-digit sacks.

Golden goes all out on every play, which got the attention of the Arizona Cardinals. Paired with former Tiger linebacker Sean Weatherspoon, it would be wise for Arizona fans to start learning the “MIZ” chant.

The Arizona Cardinals had an incredible defense last season and Markus Golden will fit in there perfectly. Golden should be able to start right away and if not, he’ll definitely still be utilized in Arizona.

The Arizona Cardinals’ defense got scarier with the addition of Markus Golden.

Mike Manock said this about Shane Ray:

"“This is one of the hardest-working men in college football. He doesn’t get as much pub as his teammate Shane Ray, but when you put the tape in he sticks out. Every time he’s on the football field, it’s 100 percent.”"
