What a difference a year makes! This time last year I was probably griping that Eric Kush hadn’t made his presence known, and now he’s the projected starter at center for the KC Chiefs in 2015.

  • This was all made possible with Rodney Hudson bolting for Oakland during the off season, and honestly… We all saw this coming. Kush was being groomed for an instance such as this and hopefully it will pan out for the Chiefs.

I wouldn’t be shocked if the Chiefs ended up drafting a center sometime in the draft, but I do think they should give Kush a shot at starting. Cameron Erving is certainly a first round option, but the good thing about him is that he could play multiple positions, not necessarily just center.

Considering we haven’t seen Kush in action much since being drafted, it’s hard to tell how he’ll fare as the starter. Still though. He was learning from one of the best in Rodney Hudson.
