3. KU will not lose a home game this year
Ok, so this isn’t that bold. It’s kind of like going out on a limb, with a dozen sleep number mattresses spread out underneath the tree. However, believe it not, Self and the Kansas Jayhawks have lost in Allen Fieldhouse – and almost did Monday night.

In 11-plus years, Self is 184-9 at home, which comes out to almost one loss per year, so it’s not totally crazy if the Jayhawks let one slip by in Lawrence. The best chance for KU to stub its toe is Feb. 2 when the Iowa St. Cyclones come to town.
They just dispatched of the Jayhawks at home Saturday night, and have the talent to win in AFH. But, having the talent, and actually accomplishing the feat, are not one in the same.
The 16,300 in attendance aren’t going to let ISU sweep their beloved ‘Hawks this year. Oh, and the players might have some say in it as well.
