Kansas Jayhawks 2008 National Title Team: Where Are They Now

Seasons At Kansas: 3 (2005-2008)
Drafted: 13th overall pick by the Portland Trail Blazers in the 2008 NBA Draft.
Brandon Rush was simply the heartbeat of the 2008 Kansas team. He was coming back off of a devastating Achilles injury, and really led the Jayhawks not only on the court, but off of it as well.
He was a great 3-point shooter and was able to take almost anybody to the hole even though he was obviously slowed by his injury.

In the Championship game against Memphis, Rush led the Jayhawks in minutes played (42), and put up an all-important 12 points on their way to the win in OT.
After all of the confetti settled, Rush entered the 2008 NBA Draft, and began his NBA career.
So far in his career he has played with three different teams including the Utah Jazz, Indiana Pacers, and the Golden State Warriors. In the summer of 2014, he re-signed with the Warriors after they traded him to the Jazz in the previous season (there’s some Jayhawk loyalty).
So far in his career, he has put up around 8 points and 3 rebounds per game in the NBA, and has been a sixth or seventh man for each team he has played for.
