Kansas City Chiefs: Areas to Improve on for Week 4

Offensive Line
I let them off the hook last week with a fairly good performance against the Broncos, but the Kansas City Chiefs’ o-line is back on my list this week. Mike McGlynn is a terrible lineman, get him out of there ASAP.
Good thing Alex Smith likes to run because he’ll be doing a lot of it this season.
Alex Smith was sacked five times including once for a safety that, at the time, made the game a lot closer than it needed to be (it was 21-15 when the safety occurred). This is simply unacceptable.
At this point, I’m not opposed to throwing Eric Kush and Laurent Duvarney-Tardif out there for a game because what’s the harm really? Kush could play center and Rodney Hudson could play guard. He used to play guard and would probably do 10 times better of a job than this current line is doing.
Good thing Alex Smith likes to run because he’ll be doing a lot of it this season if the o-line continues to crumble like they have been. Embarrassing.
Look on the bright side though… Only one more game without Donald Stephenson.
