SIT
MARSHAWN LYNCH, RUNNING BACK, SEATTLE SEAHAWKS
This one was really hard to even recommend. I almost didn’t, but the fact remaina – it is a terrible match up for Marshawn Lynch. The Arizona Cardinals have the best rush defense in the league, as they give up just 83.2 yards a game via the run. Combine that with the fact Lynch just hasn’t performed that well over the past 4 games, and it doesn’t look good for his owners this week. Lynch has just 218 rushing yards on 69 carries in those 4 games. That is just 54.5 yards a game, and 3.2 yards a carry. The danger in sitting him is that he also gets a lot of touchdowns as he has 11 this season, 4 of which came in the last 4 games.
It would take some moxy, and a great backup, to sit Marshawn Lynch this week while playing for a championship, but this is not a good match up for the downward trending running back.
