After a shaky start, the Kansas City Chiefs exploded to a 28-2 victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars. KC defense didn’t allow the Jaguars to progress past their own 36 yards line until midway through the fourth quarter, and did not allow a score.
Alex Smith threw two touchdown passes in his debut, Justin Houston had three sacks, and Tamba Hali had an interception returned for a touchdown. It was also Andy Reid‘s first regular season victory as the Chiefs head coach.
KC is now 1-0 on the season.
