The Kansas City Chiefs are 6-0 and that is remarkable. They have dealt with a flurry of losses, especially on the offensive side. Kansas City fans have heard it countless times that they lost Marquise Brown and Rashee Rice for the year.

The injuries have continued to pile on, as Juju Smith-Schuster has already been ruled out for the Week 8 game against the Las Vegas Raiders due to a hamstring injury.

With all these players missing from the wide receiver room, a veteran WR has been released by the Philadelphia Eagles.

NFL News: Eagles Release Parris Campbell

Per Jordan Schultz, the Eagles are releasing receiver Parris Campbell. He ranked fourth on the team in total snaps (112) but hasn't made an impact for this team in 2024. Campbell has just six catches for 30 yards and a score.

Over the last two weeks, he's only logged 13 total snaps. Although he hasn't done much in 2024, he could be someone the Chiefs look to bring in as a low-cost free agent. In 48 career games, the Ohio State product has 123 catches for 1,117 receiving yards and six touchdowns.

We have seen countless receivers suit up in the Chiefs' offense and elevate their play. Campbell may have to be the latest one to display that. The Chiefs have lost three receivers for some kind of timeframe this season and they can't afford to lose someone else.

Adding a player like Campbell gives them more stability with a veteran receiver. We'll have the see if Kansas City is interested in bringing in the 27-year-old.
