The Kansas City Chiefs moved to 12-1 after defeating the Los Angeles Chargers last Sunday night. Despite picking up the win, the Chiefs' passing attack was stifled by the Chargers' defense.
Kansas City was held to 210 passing yards, which is the fifth time this season they have been under the 250-yard mark.

Travis Kelce led the way for the Chiefs with five receptions on six targets for 45 yards. While Kelce led the Chefs in receiving yards, Derwin James did a good job of keeping him in check. In a recent video that's surfaced from the game, James verbally blames Kelce for a push-off and Kelce didn't seem happy.

Tavis Kelce Admits to Committing Penalty on Derwin James

Watching the verbal exchange between James and Kelce is funny. It's not uncommon for players on either side of the ball to ask for flags to be thrown. However, it is uncommon for the player being accused of a penalty to admit to committing it like Kelce did.

Nevertheless, Kelce is going to do whatever it takes to get open for Patrick Mahomes.

Although Kelce didn't put up massive numbers thanks to James coverage on Sunday his 45 yards did move him in the history books. Kelce is now second all-time in receiving yards at tight end, behind only Tony Gonzalez.

Gonzalez, a Chiefs legend in his own right, finished his career with 15,127 yards. While Kelce still has work to do to surpass Gonzalez in all-time yards, he has already passed him within the franchise.

Gonzalez finished his Chiefs tenure with 10,940, so Kelce already has 1,070 more yards as a Chief than Gonzalez.

Kelce will certainly go down as one of the all-time great players in the NFL, but hopefully he doesn't wind up committing a big penalty in the postseason.
