Travis Kelce Reveals Big Issue With Patrick Mahomes as Chiefs Look to Playoffs
By Cem Yolbulan
Even though the Kansas City Chiefs are 11-1 for the season and just clinched a playoff berth before any other team in the NFL, significant questions remain about the team, especially on the offensive end.
The Chiefs arguably won more games than they should have so far, considering their underwhelming offense since the beginning of the season. In fact, they are currently the 11th-best offense in the league. Considering how they have been a top-ten unit for the majority of the Andy Reid era, this is somewhat concerning heading into the playoffs.
Patrick Mahomes is having a notably down season, as he has already thrown 11 interceptions in 12 games. As a result, Travis Kelce is having a career-worst season in terms of yards per reception and touchdowns. The star tight end addressed the struggles in the latest episode of his podcast New Heights.

Kelce didn't hide his frustration when talking to his brother Jason. Stating that he hasn't been on the same page as Mahomes all season, Kelce added that he just can't seem to find his way in the end zone.
"Right now, for whatever reason this year, I just can’t find my way in the end zone. I’m just not on the same page as Pat. It can get frustrating. It can get f--king frustrating. That’s for damn sure."

The Kelce-Mahomes connection has been one of the greatest quarterback-tight end combinations of all time. It has been the backbone of the Chiefs offense for the past seven seasons. Chiefs fans know that the two will figure things out when it's time for the playoffs, but the frustration is clearly building up despite the 11-1 start.
