The Chiefs' rookie WR Xavier Worthy's NFL career got off to a spectacular start in Thursday's win over the Ravens. Worthy scored two TDs and notched 68 yards on three touches, making a major impact both as a receiver and runner.

It's obvious that Kansas City's offense is different with Worthy on the field. His speed instantly made a difference, stretching out Baltimore's excellent defense and making life easy for Rashee Rice underneath.

After the game, Worthy spoke to the media and expertly trolled Ravens defender Marlon Humphrey regarding the rookie's long TD catch to help ice the contest.

Xavier Worthy Perfectly Roasts Marlon Humphrey

"I came off the ball and Marlon Humphrey kind of just let me go," said Worthy. "I was like, 'Oh, I think he's gonna throw this,' I was turned around and (Patrick Mahomes) hit me right in the hole, and it was just a walk-in."

That might wind up being the easiest TD of Worthy's career. He's got two already through just one game, so perhaps he'll turn into the kind of scoring machine Kansas City's offense has lacked in recent years. For Worthy, it's a match made in heaven.

"This is everything I dreamed of," he continued. "I didn't want to go nowhere else but the Chiefs, so just having this moment and it showing up how it is, it's just an amazing feeling."

It's an amazing feeling for Chiefs fans too, and the Kingdom couldn't be happier with the early returns on Kansas City's 2024 first-round pick.
