The WWE was in Kansas City on Monday night at T-Mobile Center downtown and some familiar faces were in the crowd for the festivities.

Patrick Mahomes, Creed Humphrey, and Trey Smith were all in attendance. At one point during a showdown between United States Champion Logan Paul and challenger Jey Uso, Mahomes let Paul use his three Super Bowl rings (or replicas of them) to try to punch Uso.

It didn't go according to plan. Braun Stroman, a hulking human being, then got in Mahomes' face to let him know what he thought of the three-time Super Bowl MVP. Check it out for yourself below.

Stroman didn't appreciate Mahomes helping out Paul and seemed to challenge Kansas City's QB. Humphrey and Smith, both wearing championship belts themselves, stepped up to protect Mahomes and a confrontation nearly ensured.

Better heads ultimately prevailed, but Mahomes wasn't scared. "We'll be back!" barked Mahomes as Stroman repeatedly told him he'd "need bigger boys than that."

It was a fun segment and thrilled the fans in attendance. Given Mahomes' incredible popularity and seeming acceptance of a "villain" role in the NFL, Chiefs Kingdom was thrilled to see players involved at such a large scale in the production.

This wasn't the first time that NFL players were involved with the WWE, and many have suggested that Travis Kelce might make an appearance one day like fellow tight ends Rob Gronkowski and George Kittle have.

No matter where Mahomes goes, he's the star. That was the case once again on Monday night, though he had two of the NFL's best offensive linemen by his side.
